Thank you for your interest in the School of Professional Psychology (SOPP)! We are accepting applications for Fall 2018 due by December 1, 2017.
Clinical psychology is a field of great challenge, promise and fulfillment. It offers the opportunity to make a difference in the well being of people in your community. What sets the SOPP apart from many other doctoral programs is its emphasis on practitioner training. The SOPP was among the first in the United States to develop this training model and grant a PsyD degree. We provide an educational and training experience within a challenging and respectful environment which values diversity among faculty, staff, students, clients, and community. We strive to take students to a new level of learning through student-to-student and faculty-to-student interactions, diverse clinical training opportunities, and collaborative work with faculty in research and other scholarly endeavors.
As a participant in the SOPP, you will take control of your educational experience, apply the knowledge gained from the theoretical and practical training, and develop fundamental professional and life skills. We encourage you to learn more about the SOPP and see for yourself what makes us unique among psychology programs.
Thank you again for your interest in Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology. We look forward to hearing from you.
