Time to Completion for Students entering the Program with Advanced Standing

Students entering SOPP after having completed a separate master’s program in psychology do not automatically have advanced standing.  Beginning in 2010, select students applying to the doctoral program who had completed a separate master’s degree in psychology or a minimum amount of graduate level coursework were eligible to be considered for an accelerated curricular plan (3 years of academic coursework and practicum plus one year of internship) compared to the standard 4 + 1 curricular plan.  The first of those students will graduate in 2014.
